Husky Stadium - Seattle Event Guide

Venue Information

Husky Stadium, located in Seattle, Washington, is one of the most iconic venues in the Pacific Northwest. Opened in 1920, it has a rich history of hosting college football games, particularly for the University of Washington Huskies. The stadium has undergone several renovations, enhancing its capacity and modernizing its facilities while maintaining its historic charm.

The stadium typically hosts events from late summer through early winter, aligning with the college football season. Fans can expect thrilling matchups and a vibrant atmosphere during home games. Ticket prices vary significantly based on the event category; for instance, premium games against rival teams may see prices ranging from $75 to $200, while less popular matchups might start around $30.

Positive reviews highlight the stadium's stunning views of Lake Washington and the surrounding mountains, making it not just a venue for sports but also a picturesque location for events. With a seating capacity of over 70,000, it offers ample opportunities for fans to experience live events in an electrifying environment.

Seating Information

The seating arrangement at Husky Stadium is designed to provide excellent sightlines for all attendees. The best sections are generally considered to be the lower levels near the 50-yard line, as they offer an unobstructed view of the action on the field. These sections allow fans to feel fully immersed in the game atmosphere.

Conversely, the upper-level seats can be less desirable due to their distance from the field. While they may offer a broader view of the entire stadium, some fans find that they miss out on the intensity of close-up plays. However, these seats are often more affordable and can still provide a good experience for those on a budget.

Parking Information

Parking options around Husky Stadium are plentiful but can fill up quickly on game days. The best parking option is the E1 Parking Lot located at 3800 Montlake Blvd NE, which offers convenient access to the stadium. Pricing typically ranges from $20 to $40 depending on the event.

Additionally, there are several other parking lots nearby that provide varying levels of convenience and pricing. However, it is advisable to avoid street parking in residential areas due to strict enforcement and potential towing. The venue's location near major roadways makes it accessible but also contributes to heavy traffic during events.
